Studio Calendar speaks MCP (Model Context Protocol). Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client and it can check availability, book time, and track hours in your space, under the same rules you follow.

Streamable HTTP transport. Authentication is a per-space personal access token sent as Authorization: Bearer …. Members create tokens on their space's Agents page (a Studio plan feature), choosing read-only or read+write scope.

What an agent can do.

All times are the space's local timezone. get_space_info surfaces the timezone and current local date so agents can resolve “tomorrow at 3” correctly.

get_space_info: Space name, timezone, current local date, resources, and operating hours.
check_availability: Free/busy for a given day and resource, in the space's local time.
list_bookings: Upcoming or past bookings, filterable by member and day.
my_usage: The member's hours used vs. their monthly limit.
who_is_in: Who has booked time in the studio today.
create_booking: Book a slot (write scope). Same conflict, hours, and quota checks as the app. Owners and admins can book for an outside guest, recording the booking source and who unlocks the studio for them.
reschedule_booking: Move one of the member's own bookings (write scope). Can reassign who opens for a guest; whoever is on the hook is emailed either way.
cancel_booking: Cancel one of the member's own bookings (write scope).

Same rules as humans

Every tool runs as the member who minted the token, in one space, through the exact conflict, operating-hours, and quota checks the app enforces.

Own bookings only

Agents can never cancel or reschedule another member's booking, regardless of the member's role.

Scoped tokens

Tokens are read-only or read+write, shown once at creation, and revocable at any time. Removing a member from the space kills their tokens' access immediately.

Rate and time limits

Destructive actions are volume-capped per member, and nothing can be cancelled or moved within an hour of its start.

Full audit trail

Every agent write is logged and visible to the space owner; destructive actions email the member. Owners can pause all agent access with one switch.
